Phoenix Dev House

July 1st, 2007

Okay, so a while back I encountered someone blogging about Super Happy Dev House. I quickly blogged that I really wanted to do one of these.

Well I finally started to get off my butt and start organizing one. I still need to work with my better half on making sure that date and logistics will work out properly. I have been bouncing the idea off some other local people and it looks like there is enough interest to really pursue. So check back at Phoenix Dev House regularly to see where it’s going.

I'm intrigued, but I don't get it. Are we there to do some coding (that's what hackathon says to me)? Or is it to listen to presentations (that's what BarCamp sounds like to me)? Or something else entirely? I'm a C# coder by day and working on learning Python by night. "What's in it for me" is the question for me, I suppose.
