Christmas in January
Seems I got a late Christmas present. I have been on the Mephisto blogging platform for some time. Hating nearly every minute of it. I have had on my todo list for nearly 8 months to move to WordPress. I have put it off because of not wanting to deal with a “migration”. Jade was nice enough to hack together a Mephisto to WordPress converter. This was a pretty strong hint that he felt moving the last Mephisto blog off a dying server was over due.

When I got an email that my WordPress blog had been created, knowing I didn’t create anything in WordPress it was an even stronger sign. But when I actually got a working WordPress blog with all my data ported over, I got the impression he gave up on me ever moving it myself. Thus I got a Christmas present in January. It will take some time I suspect to get feeds fixed, look and feel situated and analytics moved across, but all in all a present I’m very grateful for. Thanks Santa Jade!

Glad it worked out!
