Political Bites: Lessons Learned From the SouthEast Valley 2010 Census

What lessons should we learn from the Southeast Valley’s 2010 census results?
That growth can look great to the economy, if there isn’t more substance, it can do more damage than good.  We should learn that going up and not going out is a more sustainable way to grow, because infrastructure costs of sprawl are nearly impossible to feed if the growth is not continuing.  Cheaper housing might attract more residents, but not necessarily the jobs they require.
