Arizona saw major job gains in April. Is it an anomaly, or the sign of an economic turnaround?
We are in the midst of an economic reset. While we had a jobs gain in April our unemployment rate remained relatively the same. Construction and manufacturing will not return to what they were anytime in the near future. The reset has put the brakes on the “consumption” mentality that has fueled most of Arizona’s growth in the last four decades. If we want any type of turn around we need to start investing in our people so that we compete in the economy.
