Is the Southeast Valley targeting the right industries to create high-wage jobs?
The economy of the future is not driven by industry. It is driven by people. If the Southeast Valley wants to compete globally it needs to focus on attracting talented individuals. It needs to start building infrastructure that lends opportunities for the creatives that already live here. Lastly, it needs to radically change it’s educational systems to provide the most innovative way to prepare its next generation to compete. As soon as we understand it’s about people, we have taken the first step.
